Petans - Grant Partner - Employability Programme

What is the Petans Grant Partner - Employability Programme? 

This grant programme is available to support those individuals currently being supported by an official Employability Trust (incl. Charity/Foundation/Not For Profit).  The grant has scope to include those – either new or returning to the industry receiving Universal Credit for unemployment or low income. 

This grant will be in addition to the existing grant schemes as a standalone scheme.  All grant schemes remain under review to always ensure fairness and suitability and Petans has the right to withdraw or amend the scheme at any time.

Who Can Apply? 

  • Employability Trust Organisations can apply to become a Petans Grant Partner provided they meet the following Criteria:

    • To be a Registered Charity within the UK whose charitable objective/scope is related to Employability.

Training must be completed at Petans.

How can I apply? - Charities and Trusts can apply by contacting Petans via 01603 891255 or bookings@petans.co.uk and requesting a Petans Employability Trust Grant Application Form.

What evidence do I need to apply? - Once a Charity or a Trust has successfully applied to become a Trust Partner they can request grant support on behalf of the individual they are supporting on an employability programme.  Candidates must be :

  • Under a Trust for support with employability
  • Receiving Universal Credit for unemployment or low income
  • Have, or working towards a skill that support offshore employment

 

It is the Trusts responsibility to confirm eligibility.  Applications for this grant can only be accepted via the Trust or Charity

 

How will it help me? – If you meet the criteria specified you will be able to apply for financial assistance towards the reduced cost of a training course as specified in the table. The aim is to support individuals on employability programmes and with suitable skills to enter or return to the Offshore Energy Sector.
