GWO Manual Handling Initial & Refresher Training Course

This course is designed to provide an awareness of the dangers associated with manual handling and provide them with a solid understanding of how to undertake manual handling safely. Individuals will complete both theory and practical sessions with the latter enabling them to demonstrate how to move a variety of objects.

Prerequisite training

GWO stipulate that all delegates participating in Basic Safety Training are physically and medically fit and capable of fully participating.

Recommended refresher training

• 2 years GWO Manual Handling refresher course.
